About Bryan

Bryan led the Irish Junior Rowing VIII in 1980 before winning a commission to serve as an officer in the elite 2ndGurkha Rifles.

He served in nine countries including operational service in three separate areas.

Having left the Army, Bryan worked in the diamond mining industry in Angola. When the results of Angolan elections were disputed by UNITA, the mine that Bryan was working on was overrun by Terrorists. Bryan was taken into captivity.

Three days later, he and several colleagues were released and flown to Namibia.

“I was very glad to get out of Angola alive. Imagine my concern when within 12 hours of getting off the mine, my Boss asked me to go back! Out of the frying pan into the fire!”

It was soon very clear that none of my colleagues were prepared to go back. Faced with the most difficult decision of his life, Bryan chose to return to Angola. This choice changed his perspective forever.

Bryan believes that when you choose to take action, fear is replaced with purpose. In essence, when you leap, the net appears.

“It is obvious that fear stop everyone from achieving their true potential, regardless of whether that fear is real or just vividly imagined”.

He harnessed this belief when he set up his own corporate development company seven years ago.

He has been speaking and coaching for seven years. His results are excellent.
