Bryan Dunlop to speak at 'Raise Your Game Conferences'

With an array of speakers from Sir Steve Redgrave (5-time Olympic Gold Medallist),Stephen Ferris(Ulster, Ireland & Lions Rugby Player)and Eddie Irvine (Former F1 Racing Driver) it’s sure to be a special day, with many lessons to learn. Sir Steve Redgrave, 5-time Olympic Gold Medallist

Sir Steve Redgrave CBE has proven himself to be the greatest Olympian Britain has ever produced. After striking gold in Sydney 2000 he became the UK’s only athlete to have won Gold Medals at five consecutive Olympic Games. A sought-after speaker and tireless charity worker, Sir Steve will talk about Motivation and Achievement.

 

Frank McParland, Director, Liverpool FC Academy

Frank has a very clear philosophy on Managing Talent, which he will share with delegates and is summed up in his own words: “Where there is ability we want to get the best out of it; where there is talent we want to harness it and where there is desire we want to reward it with opportunity. Everyone who works, trains and plays at Liverpool FC is expected to perform to the highest possible standards. Our ongoing challenge is to provide the ideal environment for talent to flourish”.

 

Dr Lisa Bradley, 2-time World Judo Masters Champion

Originally from Derry, Dr Lisa Bradley is twice World Masters Judo Champion, a silver medallist at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and has travelled the world competing at the highest level. Lisa’s focus has now shifted to developing business leaders of the future in her role as Head of International Business at the Ulster Business School. Lisa will draw on the parallels of Preparing Your Mind to win in the sporting and business context.

 

Stephen Ferris, Ulster, Ireland & Lions Rugby Player

On 21st March 2009 Stephen became a national hero as a key member of the victorious Ireland rugby team, winning the 2009 Six Nations Championship and Grand Slam. In a sensational climax to the tournament, Ireland defeated Wales in Cardiff to claim their first Grand Slam in 61 years. Stephen will reflect on his experiences in rugby and share his thoughts on What it Takes to Win.

 

Bryan Dunlop, International Speaker

A former Gurkha soldier and Irish International Rower, Bryan is now a highly respected
international speaker. He also works with individuals, teams and FTSE 100 companies to help them achieve better results, regardless of their challenges. Bryan delivers business and leadership talks across Europe and we are delighted that he has agreed to facilitate both RYG events. He will engage with the audience and the speakers to identify the Traits of High Performers and will bring the event to a close by highlighting what it takes to Raise Your Game.

 

John Scott, CEO, Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014 (Derry~Londonderry Only)

John is responsible for delivering the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. His role covers the sport’s programme, developing the infrastructure, managing the 1,000-strong organising committee and recruiting and training the 15,000 volunteers needed. He also has a significant focus on media, political liaison and commercial negotiations around sponsorship and broadcasting. Speaking in the future UK City of Culture, John will share his thoughts on Leadership and Opportunity.

 

Eddie Irvine, Former F1 Racing Driver
(Craigavon Only)

Eddie is best known for his Formula 1 achievements with Jordan, Jaguar and Ferrari. His most successful season was in 1999, when he won four races and finished as runner-up to Mika Häkkinen. Eddie has also developed a keen eye for business and over the past 20 years has acquired a considerable property portfolio and various investments in local and international businesses (including ownership of Eddie Irvine Sports). Eddie will reflect on his career in Sport and Business, offering insights and lessons from both.
